That's a Really Decent Netbook, Compared to most netbooks!

The security looks pretty solid for a shared computer, so you wouldn't really need much!

The Security aspect of this Netbook is very secured since everything's locked down, How about adding in EMET to the setup? Once EMET is added and configured, That's a very Locked Down Security Setup.

Nice Specs on the Netbook, AMD do offer better value at this level I think in general. But lack in other areas, think Bulldozer?? Anyway, back on topic I think you have it nicely secured as it is but maybe add decent firewall into the mix such as Comodo (or would this be too complex for rest of family?). In addition to Hitman Pro, add MBAM (Solid on-demand combo) and last but not least ScriptNo (teach rest/other users how to use it proper even though it's not as good as Firefox's NoScript (let the war begin? haha).

NoScript works great but can be a big annoyance over time. I've used it before and it didn't even last a week with me. It interferes with daily browsing and such.

Secunia PSI is great but not that useful if you're and advanced user that knows how to update all of his software.

Comodo Firewall is actually easier to use now especially with the improvements made. You should really give it a consideration.

Finally, EMET is a great software for Exploit Mitigation. Might disable some of the programs installed, But you're well protected form exploits especially if there are Click Happy People down there.

That's the exact reason I have not installed EMET, because it disables the program that is most needed. I also use a Standard Account, where the Admin account is password protected, so that reduces the chances of software(s) being installed.

You bought the best notebook option there is almost (alienware M11 is hardcore). the cpu might be too weak but a very good gpu that will make the visual experience good as well as pleasent. I am not 100% sure but you should be able to watch full hd(1080p) without a problem compared if you have an intel atom solution.

I think that Batman Arkham is even playable (20-25 fps) at low settings with the native resolution of your netbook.
