Wasn't this the open-source alternative to LimeWire, back in the day.

It was I believe a fork of LimeWire.

When the incident of LimeWire happened, FrostWire changed to a solely Bit Torrent client.

I did use it briefly but did not have the full control of uTorrent. Mind you uTorrent nowadays is not the same either.
