On third party updater you can try some alternative like Filehippo Updater or Secunia PSI but overall CNET TechTracker is fine.
For backup there are some free backup option around there. You can try Macrium Reflect it has a free version. ![]()

No the other browsers don't serve a particular purpose I just have them there for a backup or if one can do what another can't. Although Safari doesn't serve a purpose. sssssooooo... Added: Anvisoft Smart Defender
Removed: WinPatrol, Safari Changed: Windows Firewall to TinyWall, AdBlock Plus to AdBlock in Google Chrome Malware Maniac - All Malware should be removed by a Maniac.

Updated My Config
Added: SysRestore, Norton DNS. Removed: Tinywall. Changed: Windows Firewall to Comodo Firewall, Avast Free to Microsoft Security Essentials, Anvisoft Smart Defender to Kingsoft AntiVirus. Malware Maniac - All Malware should be removed by a Maniac.

your best change in my opinion was the switch from Anvisoft to Kingsoft.
Any particular reason for MSE? |
