History channel, got that here so I might check out and if not check online.

I usually watch History Channel and National Geographic. Both of them have interesting programs.

I like those as well. Discovery and TLC used to have a lot of interesting programs, but now they seem to be focusing more on reality type shows (like that family that has an absurd number of kids) that are not as interesting to me.

Oh they still have that program running about that family?

Discovery I used to watch the science channel, since they had some forensic programs but we lost the channel here.

Since the channels are part of the UK satellite channels, some I can't get it unless I pay extra for what I already pay.

There is one called Crime and Investigation channel which is also very interesting.

I totally agree in general with this sentence, HeffeD!
Yes I spoke of ignorance of so many people in our neighborhood which each one - especially me, believe me - surely has met in his life .. This hurts me. But I never treated anyone stupid, sorry. But if you understood otherwise, I apologize, yes this was not my intention of course.

So this beautiful picture came from 'The 11th century illustrations of Mandylion and Abgar's cycle from Georgian Gospel-Book Manuscript A-484 (the co-called Alaverdi Gospel, manuscript made and illustrated at the Georgian scriptorium of Kalipos monastery on the Black Mountain, near Antioch before 1055)'.

Some Mandylion of Edessa icons, that I posted (look on Post #33 the first three pictures and not forget the Holy Face of Laon Slavic, also the picture on Post #35, Post #52 .. please), are very similar .. So this is the image - key for many other Mandylion of Edessa images, the most beautiful of all similar, I see.
