Guide | How To Are there instructions/tips/how-to-info for the use of the MT sight?

I've just completed a malware cleanup, assisted by TwinHeadedEagle--successfully. I had done one a couple of days ago with Argus--also successful.

Now I want to go deeper and try to improve performance. My laptop is new (less than a year) but is not performing as well as it did.

Trouble is I'm not too good with sites like MT--lots of questions, and not much of a figure-it-out-myself kind of guy.

SOME OF MY QUESTIONS:
I see tutorials about issues & problems. Are there any for "how to use MT"? I haven't found one yet.
Is this the correct place to post this thread for that?
Have I posted THIS thread in the right place, and correctly?
Can you give me some tips for using MT's search box? (I always seem to search for the wrong things!)
How do I find a "post a new thread" button? (I've only found them by accident!
