Hello, after some tests I realized that Qihoo detects way more Malware than Avira. It is odd because Avira is way better in the Real World Detection Test on AV-C and it is not only a month, it is like the whole year.

I've ran a lot of Malware since a few days and I found out that Qihoo is way better in point of heuristics and prevention of zero day threads.

What is your oppenion? :)

hello
I would stay with avira myself if i was in your case; as others said, qihoo has many FP and also total security which is the main developped now comes with many useless performances options and modules (speedup, cleanup etc...); i tried quickly qihoo before and didn't like it; i would rely more on avira for a basic protection than qihoo

If your browsing activity is "normal", then you're good with Avira.. It's very light and its detection rate is good.
If you're into crazier stuff , then you should go with 360. Its detection rate is definitely one of the best out there. I haven't had too many false positives (about 2-3 in 6 months use), but someone could argue that even one could damage your system. I'm fine with that.. I was using Avira in my previous PC, but it let lots of stuff in (most of them were PUPs and adware though, nothing too serious..).

I don't trust Qiwho?. Not because of privacy concerns but Qiwho? will likely to cause serious problem with unexperience end users.
Not to mention by default TS cleans out system cache which helps to make system feels responsive.
Avira too adds more crap every time i test it but safer than you know who.

For the response from OP, well actually Qihoo has multi engines unless you set it out to use only their main engine and compare the results.

Your post said all things :) Qihoo is better than Avira on detection, but you have to deal with False Detection. Qihoo has a lot of (crazy) FP number. If you accept FPs, Qihoo is good.
But my recommend to you if you use Avira now, stay with it ;) Because detection is not everything.

Sorry , but this time I can not agree with you. Qihoo I've been using since about a year and few false positives ,
most programs PuPs.

Avira is very good, but for me, Qihoo is the best.

Nice day for everyone

This situation changes for every users, Qhen Qihoo sees a new fresh .exe, it will detects it. I am sure, I can assure you :)
But remember I did not say Qihoo is bad, it is really good product but not my choice (TS)

I would never use avira, better to go with avast.

360IS is currently the best free AV on the market and maybe the best paid as well.
I've been testing 360IS for 7 months, always on top, and not only with signature almost 100% but even with unknown malware.
