If you had to pick the better of the two which one would you run and which one do you think is better?
Im running Bitdefender Total Security 2014 which I got a free year before they started blocking proxies and seems to run well on my AMD PHENOM II X6 with 8 gigs of memory.

both AV programs are worthy of our attention I personally would rather Bitdefender is lightweight and has a good virus detection and no load on the system.
but this is only my opinion.:D

Continue with BitDefender. It has more available functions and I believe that BD offers better protection against AVG.. Thats my opinion, and I've used BD for a medium period, it was great and effective. The only reason that dragged me to uninstall it was its firewall. I do not know but for some reason, it kept blocking my hostednetwork, which I created to share my connection to other devices.. Otherwise, I would stay with BD all the way.
