The mirrors are finally synched and live for the CentOS 6.0 release.

The CentOS team is pleased to announce the immediate availability of CentOS-6.0 for i386 and x86_64 Architectures.

I'm downloading it now so I don't know if any great advancements have been made, but I've always felt that CentOS was a little basic compared to other Linux distros. (Not that basic is necessarily a bad thing)

If you happen to be running CentOS 5.6, unless you need an updated Kernel, I really can't see the point in upgrading to 6.0.

There is really nothing groundbreaking in this release. In fact, surprisingly enough, this release is still bundled with Firefox 3.6x. :s

Well it's basically a RHEL 6 clone. RHEL is for servers and workstations where absolute code stability is needed. So yeah, you don't even get the latest FF ;)
