Google will give up its SPDY protocol to try to increase the speed of Chrome . The company announced on Monday (9) adopt the HTTP / 2 .

The HTTP / 2 is an updated version of the known protocol , which is close to being standardized. Google wants to use it in Chrome 40 in the coming weeks . According to the company , the HTTP / 2 includes several features that evolved from its protocol , including multiplexing and header compression .
