I want to know if the modules are working correctly.

Like for previous version on Win 10...a user on Comodo forum mentioned that everything looked fine but when he checked FW on the main GUI..traffic was shown "0" for everything.

I will wait for your reply guys... HJLBX, Yigido, Terri Ganzi & others...

Salutations,Friends!

Is the sandbox working correctly! Also, the reset and/or emptying of the sandbox? Working? With Comodo Firewall?

Kind regards!;)

The installers are around 150MB...rest included bloats like browser, geekbuddy, etc...

I think this is going to change with V9 beta that is suppose to be released early august i.e this month.
They are going to introduce online downloader, reduce installer sizes, etc..
Users have requested for bloat removed & 32/64 bits seperate installers.
Lets see what all we get with the upcoming V9.

I only use W8.1... no W10 for a while - so won't be able to comment on much I would think.

Have to wait for v. 9 probably...

Currently working with Comodo Engineering on some bugs. Will report what, if anything, Chief of Engineering finds\decides.

Best Regards,

HJLBX

No 300+ bugs fixed? XD

I am dedicated Comodo user on W8.1 and I sure as hell have no idea what is fixed - because bugs which have been reported for quite some time are never fixed.

All I can say is that it is frustrating... which, by now, pretty much seems to be the CIS user's lot. Either you accept it or move onto something else.

I use CIS in a way that avoid most bugs or create rules that circumvent them. Luckily, rules creation and settings can be adjusted to avoid the bugs... for the most part. Still, there is CIS functionality that I don't use because of bugs...

Bummer...

When you extract installer you can get separate x86 & x64 bit installer + other crap.
x64bit installer is about 120MB (x86bit is about 100MB)

Is this the new version released yesterday?
I think previous version installer was app 130MB for 32 bits & 150MB for 64 Bits.

And I think with the extracted installer you dont get the option to select individual module to install i.e CIS installer...if you extract it & run the extracted installer...it will install FW & AV...& will not give the option to select FW or AV during install.
And I think extracted installer dont install bloats i.e browser, geekbuddy, etc...

The difference is the installation script and you can convert later to another configuration.

So any probs with CIS latest version on Win 10 32/64 Bits?

I am still with Windows Defender & Windows FW.

And I wonder if Windows Defender + Windows Firewall + Windows Desktop Smart Screen is good enough?
