If you are experiencing slowdowns with Bitdefender, be sure to disable Idle Scan (aka Bloat Creator Scan :p), just saying, I used to have troubles with slowdowns. Everything else is great!

Cheers, Chromatinfish :D

Have heard a lot about the famous (or infamous) idle scan, but yet to experience any slowdowns.:)
P.S. Hope I'm not jinxing myself ;)

Switch from Adblock Plus in Chrome to Micro Block (uBlock). This dramatically reduces the memory that Chrome uses as uBlock is much lighter than Adblock Plus but they both use the same filter lists ;)

Other than that, everything looks good to me. So long as all your software is up to date (as in Java, Flash, Acrobat etc), I think you'll be fine :)
