About:

Display Driver Uninstaller is a graphics driver removal tool that helps remove all remnats of AMD, NVIDIA and Intel graphics card drivers including old registry keys, files, folders and driver stores.

Intel, AMD and Nivdia drivers can normally be uninstalled with the Windows Uninstall Programs window. However, often the standard uninstall fails or does not completely delete the old video card drivers. This can cause issues installing new / updated drivers.

After running Display Driver Uninstaller the program will make it as if you are about to install a new video driver on a fresh, clean install of Windows.

Display Driver Uninstaller makes many system changes and the author has wisely built in a function to help you remember to create a new system restore point before running the cleaner so you can revert your system if have problems. However, make sure you familiarize yourself with how to use system restore prior.

With Display Driver Uninstaller you can remove drivers and leftover files and Registry entries from NVIDIA, AMD and Intel graphics chipsets. While Intel support is still in its infancy, both NVIDIA and AMD support is well established.

Fire up the app and it’ll prompt you to boot into Safe mode to make sure the removal is clean.You have three choices: remove and reboot and remove and do nothing are mainly for removing corrupt installs, while remove and shutdown is for those who are fitting a new card. Display Driver Uninstaller is capable of booting back into normal mode automatically.

Always wondered about this. If you have no display how do you install your new driver? Sorry if this seems a dumb question but i have thinking about this since i first saw it at Majorgeeks a while back. Does it just reinstal on reboot or what? I would love this to be explained to me. Cheers.

-The tool can be used in Normal mode but for absolute stability when using DDU, Safemode is always the best and using the button (Clean+restart) are the recommended options.
-You do NOT need to uninstall the driver before using DDU.
