Wired has published a story by Andy Greenberg which details how white-hat hackers were able to demonstrate and expose a flaw in a car’s infotainment system to take control of the vehicle while it was driving on the highway at 100km/h.

Too many people want more to do with whatever they have instead of wanting it to be secure and reliable. I used to love Chrysler (parent company of Jeep, Dodge, etc) until they sold out. They were doing fine when they owned themselves. Now mass recalls, etc and problems like this. Good job Chrysler. Your being like GM.

Note: No offense to fans of the brands mentioned. I'm just stating facts. You should value your life and your families life over some vehicle that you like. Most companies start sucking real bad after they sell out.
