F-Secure SAFE 2015 2.15.358.0 - new release

About:
"F-Secure SAFE is a security suite which can protect Windows and Mac desktops, as well as Android, iOS and Windows 8 mobile devices.

Desktop protection is relatively lightweight in comparison to some other suites. There's antivirus, browsing protection, simple parental controls and a spam filter, but that's essentially it. There's no online backup, no password manager, not even a firewall (F-Secure uses the Windows firewall).

This isn't necessarily a bad thing. The program uses minimal system resources, and is extremely simple to use. Independent testing shows F-Secure's protection is worth having, too. As we write, the previous engine is ranked 3rd out of 25 at AV-Test, just behind Avira and Bitdefender, and beating the excellent Kaspersky.

There's improved mobile support, too, in particular with the program's simplified anti-theft tools. Android and iOS users can now remotely locate, lock, reset, wipe or sound the alarm on a lost or stolen device, all from F-Secure's own My Safe web portal.

Please note, the download link takes you to a registration page. You must enter your email address before you'll be able to download the 30-day trial.

F-Secure SAFE 2015 is short on features, but the antivirus protection is strong, there's a good set of anti-theft tools for mobile users, and overall it's lightweight and easy to use."
