A drone that infects computers and smartphones to install a spy software. Is the future of surveillance: eavesdropping at long range, even in the most in accessible and isolated. And the milanese company Hacking Team is working in this front. Rcs, producing an interception program used by police and intelligence services around the world, is also accused of doing business with rogue States and is therefore held by Human Rights Watchas one of the enemies of the Internet. On the night of 5 and 6 July the company underwent a massive data theft: more than 400 gigabytes of sensitive information were made public.
An email dated 1 July 2015, summarizes the new projects of the company. Among them is a small device that can withstand the weather, with antennas and transportable by a drone. These technologies are called Tactical Network Injector(Tni) and are able to penetrate the wifi networks and using them as a channel to track the communications or install software. The Tni can also be equipped with laptops antennas for the interception.
