I'm just wondering what security and/or privacy protection programs I can run alongside Bitdefender Internet Security '14 and/or '15. I know I can't run Malwarebytes even though I really should be able to, but what about Spyware like Spyboy S&D, AdBlock Plus, or other such products.

Like posts above, u dont need to run anything other than bis in realtime protection.Just add a one demand scanner like malwarebytes,Hitmanpro,Herdprotect(if u know how to handle false positives). Since u use Chrome u can use/try uBlock as Adblocker. Its lighter than any other adblocker for chrome out at the moment+easy to use and powerful.

Bitdefender is known to be a pretty awesome Antivirus. If you want you can install Malwarebytes' Antimalware Free as an on-demand scanner for an additional layer of protection. I heard good things about Hitman Pro but I haven't used it myself.

Malwarebytes Free can be added but as on-demand only. Set it as delayed start so it won't add up to the start-up time. Or if you fancy, HitmanPro free.
