I must hand it to you! I finally solved my issues with both PriCechhop and NextCOup, thanks to your instructions and the two programs you pointed to. To all those out there, I must say that they have to be patient with Zoek because it may take more than a few minutes. Just wait until it finishes while you brew some coffee or something :) Now, my question is: Are the two programs still residing in my PC or did they self-destruct, after finishing their job? I turned back on Microsoft Security Essentials which I use as protection (a whole lot of good it did in real-time protection...). Again, thanks for your generous support in addressing my concerns. Cheers!

You will delete them this way:

Download DelFix by Xplode and save it to your desktop.
  • Run the tool by right click on the

icon and Run as administrator option.
  • Make sure that these ones are checked:
    • Remove disinfection tools
    • Purge system restore
    • Reset system settings
  • Push Run and wait until the tool completes his work.
  • All tools we used should be gone. Tool will create an report for you (C:\DelFix.txt)
The tool will also record healthy state of registry and make a backup using ERUNT program in %windir%\ERUNT\DelFix
Tool deletes old system restore points and create a fresh system restore point after cleaning.
