Microsoft has released two patches for Windows 10 users and you can download them now by going to Windows update and having the OS look for new patches.

The patches are numbered KB 3038357 and 3037975 but at the time of this post, the details of the patches are not up yet on Microsoft's site. But, based on the Windows Update prompt, patch 3037975 is closing a vulnerability with Flash and as soon as Microsoft's patch pages go live, we will update this post.

Microsoft has rolled out two new updates to Windows 10 build 9926, the current build available to those who are participating in the Windows Insider Program. In these updates, which rolled out during February 2015 Patch Tuesday, addresses Flash Player in Internet Explorer as well as resolves various issues throughout the operating system. Here are the two updates that were released today:

  • KB3037975 - Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows Technical Preview
  • KB3038357 - Update for Windows Technical Preview
Head over to Windows Update and download these fixes. Let us know if you are able to successfully install the updates and if you notice any new improvements or fixes. At the time of this post, the specific KB articles listed above are not yet detailed on Microsoft's website (we get an error when trying to access them).
