Nasa-funded study: industrial civilisation headed for 'irreversible collapse'?

A new study sponsored by Nasa's Goddard Space Flight Center has highlighted the prospect that global industrial civilisation could collapse in coming decades due to unsustainable resource exploitation and increasingly unequal wealth distribution.

Noting that warnings of 'collapse' are often seen to be fringe or controversial, the study attempts to make sense of compelling historical data showing that "the process of rise-and-collapse is actually a recurrent cycle found throughout history." Cases of severe civilisational disruption due to "precipitous collapse - often lasting centuries - have been quite common."

What do you think about that ? I think they are right, we are pretty doomed ....

Its really bad that our generation will be doomed generation.
Party time is over.

We have screwed the environment. Consequence are to follow. thats really bad because we cannot reverse it. we will have to suffer to implications.

The ultra rich has gone more richer because they exploited the workers under them. this was done by controlling how the profit was distributed. The people at top that ceo's and board of directors colluded to grab large share of profit. people just below them were also given profit but in less quantity. But the people who are of lowest rank were given nothing.

Board of directors decide there own salary. so you can imagine if you are allowed to decide your own salary what you will be doing. You guessed it right you will right even bigger check for yourself.
