Greetings

I've described my issues in other sections... so, what else to say. Hmmm, please excuse any unaccurate language, English is not my natural language ;)

It seems my Win is heavily damaged ( that hurts my pride , because i'm a cautious windows user , more used to clean other's people computers :p ). I would like to know if it's worth trying to fix this installation, or if i would have a better solution in reinstalling Windows (actually , i wonder if i should take this "opportunity" to install Win10 Insider Preview ... x) )

As i wrote in my "step taken" section, i already tried Combofix. Sorry... (i have some logs)

I don't have restorepoints which would bring me back prior to the issue.

Thanks for any advise ! I tend to think that this windows installation is too much damaged... but may be you can bring me some hope ? :)

Hello THE , thanks for the fast reply !

The requested MS Genuine Activation , in attachment. Good idea to check that, it was a MSDN license.

Oh, another symptom to mention too : when restarting the computer or session , in system trays i see that windows cannot access to system event notifications (Failed to connect to a windows service, Windows could not connect to the system event notification service service. This problem prevents standard users from logging on to the system. As an administrative user, you can review the System event log for details...)

I didn't.
I've done it now with administrative rights

Result :

Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601]
Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\Windows\system32>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

I try to attach CBS.log (with only entries since the launch of the SFC)

  • Push Run Script and wait patiently. The scan may take a couple of minutes.
  • When the scan completes, a zoek-results logfile should open in notepad.
  • If a reboot is needed, it will be opened after it. You may also find it at your main drive (usually C:\ drive)

Post its content into your next reply.

About the same symptoms :
- No Internet Connection
- incomplete user profile after a restart (with the "failed to connect to a windows service "System Event Notification"), more complete if i "log off" then log in again
- Any attempt of using a netsh.exe command will result in "Network Command Shell has stopped working"

Looks like this windows install is dead..

Yes, I've spotted too much errors and I don't think we can accomplish anything, Windows reinstall is the best and safest option.
