To DELETE your Facebook profile:
Action is permanent - Learn more.

If you do not think you will use Facebook again and would like your account deleted, we can take care of this for you. Keep in mind that you will not be able to reactivate your account or retrieve any of the content or information you have added.

To proceed, you'll need to enter your Password and fill in the Captcha-code. You'll then be notified about a 14-day deletion cancellation period.

Your account has been deactivated from the site and will be permanently deleted within 14 days. If you log into your account within the next 14 days, you will have the option to cancel your request.

To prevent accidental login, delete you credentials from any password manager software you use.

If you do not wish to delete your profile, instead you can de-activate your profile.

To DEACTIVATE your Facebook profile:

Deactivating your account will disable your Profile and remove your name and picture from most things you've shared on Facebook. Some information may still be visible to others, such as your name in their friends list and messages you sent.
