I am unable to reinstall my printer, from cd nor download, which was previously installed. Also I am unable to access reg-edit. When searching for reg-edit no file is found.
Printer is seen on device screen and in programs.

Did u getting error accessing registry editor? Go to run or hit window key + R at same time & run command will appear. Then type " Gpedit.msc " without quotes & then go to " User Configuration " - " Administrative Templates " - " System " & then double click on " prevent access to registry editor tools " & then tick " disabled " or " not configured "& then click apply & ok.
Btw, u need to uninstall existing printer related softwares, drivers completely before fresh install. Either do it via control panel - " programs & features " or do it via 3rd party uninstaller like revo.

About the printer, are you getting any error when installing the printer. If so then post the error.

It would help to provide the below information.
