The Deputy Chairman of the state Duma from fraction “Fair Russia” Nikolay Levichev has asked the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev to prohibit the use of the operating system Windows 10 in state structures and authorities, and Microsoft to check on the compliance of its activities with the Russian legislation.

Will MS really collect users logins and passwords etc?

I think China already bans windows in their government offices. But seriously, this is unnecessary as Governments can request to see and audit the source code of Windows.

I guess using a local account instead of Microsoft Account would increase our privacy, and using most of non Microsoft Products where ever its possible can even safe guard our privacy.
