It's hard to say, they're 50-50, Trend Micro with his Web blocking and BB and Eset with detection and it does not depend on internet very much, Trend Micro is more user friendly and when it comes to resources and impact that's less important because these days you need a good PC (6-8 GB of RAM) to be sure you can install a good AV.

I have used Trend Micro Maximum Security and very slow in scan but I have not used Trend Micro Internet Security 2015, so I prefer to ESS 8

ESET SS 7 didnt give me good protection..
i used it and my honest opinion is dat if u r intersted in downloading some stuffs from different torrents and links,u cant trusts eset's protection.
i had to install Emsisoft AM and remove the security hijacks!
but if u use it for normal surfing den its fit for u!

Hard to decide. Trend Micro needs a few small improvements, for example scan speed etc. But it's a good AV, which the last real world protection test by AV-C confirmed. Anyway, my vote goes to Eset.

I have used both for months and i can tell for sure it is a very difficult decision between the 2 of them.Eset has good detection but Trend
has good 0 day protection.Eset isn't doing good in 0 day protection and Trend isn't doing good in detection and has false positives.
The latest test's show that Trend has improve it's detection and now has fewer false positives.If that's the case then my vote goes to Trend, if not goes to Eset.As you can see it's a hard decision so whatever you choose you won't go wrong.

And one more thing I like in eset is making 3 months keys. Using a virtual machine with special beta distributive and T-Nod (license extractor from eset) it takes about 2 minutes to get a license for 3 months. So, you needn't to buy a license. But for trend products there are no often giveaways and I don't know a method how to make keys.
