Virus Residue

I have had a recurring astromenda virus hit my chrome browser periodically for the past few months.
I clean it out with ADW and Malwarebytes, and the scans turn up clean, but after a couple weeks it is back again.
I used Hitman Pro to see if there was anything the ADW was not picking up and it found some PC optimizer files in my registry. I wonder if this is the reason I get this recurring malware.
Do you have instructions on how to remove this threat manually, or any advice otherwise?
Thank you.

  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finished FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.
