A friend of mine tried downloading an electronic book on my laptop and ended up installing by mistake a malware program, browser crashes from time to time, front page is changed to webssearches ( http://istart.webssearches.com/?typ...exp&uid=ST1000LM024XHN-M101MBB_S2SMJ9FD910240 ) and also the search page is done by this website as well. I also have now a thing called search protect near my watch that I cant find it in programs to uninstall it. Oh and my browser opens up random ad pages now.
Please, I'm in dire need of help. Thank you.

Excellent, it removed all the adware.
We will delete all used tools.

Download DelFix by Xplode and save it to your desktop.
  • Run the tool by right click on the
    51a5ce45263de-delfix.png
icon and Run as administrator option.
  • Make sure that these ones are checked:
    • Remove disinfection tools
    • Purge system restore
    • Reset system settings
  • Push Run and wait until the tool completes his work.
  • All tools we used should be gone. Tool will create an report for you (C:\DelFix.txt)
The tool will also record healthy state of registry and make a backup using ERUNT program in %windir%\ERUNT\DelFix
Tool deletes old system restore points and create a fresh system restore point after cleaning.
