The road to the technical preview is quickly filling up with all sorts of leaks that show off new details about the OS. If you have missed any of the information so far, you can check out all of the content here.

In the latest leaks, we can see that the new Start menu will match the backgrounds of the wallpaper that you are using. As you can see in the image at the top of this post, the Start menu changes color according to the background that you choose.

It's a small personalization step for the OS but one that many will likely enjoy. Although, some of the colors do not look all that great for a Start menu and the brownish/red color will likely not be a fan favorite.

But, these are still early builds of Windows 9 and a lot could change before the OS is released, likely next spring.

Yes, blue one is the best, to me. OK.
Other colors - very ugly, to me!

Could we change the ugly design of flat icons, please? - to be NOT flat, but 3D .. please?

I'm so used to the Windows 8 Start Menu that I really don't understand why people hate it so much. The flat design and multitude of colors does not bother me either.

Maybe more people feel like I do? But mostly people voice their opinions only to complain?
