I have to keep changing the windows update back to auto updates. Computer is not infected with any computer, this has been verified in the Malware section in this forum as all scans have been performed and they have come back clean. TwinHeadedEagle suggested that I post my problem in this forum.

Hello Bob,
Can you please try to run use the Tweaking.com - Windows Repair utility - and more specifically use the "Repair Windows Updates" option - http://www.tweaking.com/content/page/windows_repair_all_in_one.html
Make sure you create a system restore point, and just select the Repair Windows Updates option. Let us know if it works.
