Doesn't this encourage our members to try these programs and then have a bad experience with the program.
I realize that MT wants to be fair about these things, but many of us have tried these programs and know the danger of using them and they just aren't needed to maintain your computer. Our malware person here has given his disapproval of these programs.

if u use it right its a nice product. u just need to know what u can delet and what not+these programs have most of the time nice tools that for example ccleaner is missing.

And if you use it wrong, like a lot of inexperienced people might do; you can wind up having to reinstall your OS.
The bottom line is you don't need these programs. If you know windows, you have all the tools you need and they are safe to use.
Learn to use the tools provided by windows.

sfc /scannow
disk clean up
defrag
These are a few that come to mind at the moment. Maybe other members here will help me remember more!
