An image file is attached to the email, which is a “Lottery processing form” that the recipient must fill out. This form requests personal information, such as full name, date of birth, occupation, country, state, address, phone number, and additional data like sex, marital status, and ZIP/Postcode. Furthermore, it asks for sensitive banking information, including bank name, account number, SWIFT code, address, and telephone and fax numbers.
Recipients are instructed to scan the completed form and send it back within seven days, or they will forfeit their winnings.

Your email address was picked by the automated computer ballot system, which was programmed for this random selection. This random selection has eventually qualified you for this year’s annual Max-Lotto Program and as the selected winner you are entitled to receive “Eight hundred and fifty thousand USD”.
Attached to this email is the STB Form you are required to fill the form and the listed information below as well. You are advised to scan and send it back.
