Robx.me offers every Roblox player’s dream deal. You give it your username, and it promises free Robux straight to your account, no other details needed.
The page appears ready to do just what it says. But what happens once you press the button is another matter, and it ends nowhere close to your Roblox balance.

Overview
What Robx.me claims to offer
Robx.me’s pitch is a generator that hands out free Robux. You supply a Roblox username, choose an amount, often thousands, and press a button meant to “send” it.
These pages usually fill the wait with a progress bar, a console of fake server messages and names of players who supposedly just got paid. None of it adds Robux.
Roblox has no link to these pages
Robx.me isn’t a Roblox site, and Roblox hasn’t approved it or partnered with it. Roblox actually warns its players to avoid sites like this one.
Robux only lands in an account when Roblox puts it there. A website that knows your username can’t do it.
What you get instead of free Robux
Nothing gets delivered. Instead, the page asks for a “human verification,” which is a content locker: a wall of apps, surveys and sign-ups that pay the site’s operator.
Here’s what that adds up to for you:
- The Robux never show up, no matter how many offers you get through.
- A cost-per-action (CPA) ad network is usually the one paying, handing the operator a commission for each offer you complete.
- Some offers collect personal details, like your email, your phone number and more.
- Some push subscriptions or app installs that can end up costing real money.
- Later on, some sites ask you to hand over your Roblox password or a login code.
Don’t trust Robx.me: it’s a free Robux scam. Leave the username field empty, don’t complete its “verification” offers and never pass along your password or a login code.
How the Robx.me Scam Works
You’ll see the same script on domain after domain, since free Robux sites are put together from the same few kits. Here’s how it plays out.
Step 1: Someone shares a free Robux link
Few players end up on pages like Robx.me after a search. The links get shared with them in YouTube comments, TikTok videos, Discord servers and messages inside Roblox.
Nothing about the pitch is subtle. It shouts “Claim 10,000 free Robux,” “Working generator,” “No password needed,” while fake comments underneath claim it worked for them.
Many of these pages sit on free hosts like Blogger (blogspot.com) or Netlify (netlify.app). Setting one up costs nothing, and swapping it out after a report is easy.
Step 2: Typing in your Roblox username
Nothing about the first ask seems risky: a username, an amount that’s often huge, such as 10,000 or 22,500 Robux, then a click on “Generate” or “Continue.”

That username request is there to make it feel personal, as if your Robux were already on the way. Some pages even show your avatar to sell it.
Typing your username in doesn’t open any path for Robux to reach you from a website. It only keeps you invested in a delivery the site will never make.
Step 3: The fake generator goes through the motions
The screen comes alive next. A progress bar fills, and a console prints lines such as “Connecting to Roblox servers” and “Injecting Robux into account.” It’s quite a performance.
All of it is a scripted animation that plays identically for every visitor. It never touches your Robux balance, and nothing gets injected anywhere.
Close to the end, the show pauses with a message that the transfer is “almost complete.” That moment sets up the real ask.
Step 4: The site asks you to prove you’re human
The site says you need to “prove you’re not a bot” by finishing one or two offers. Then a box pops up, packed with apps, games, surveys and sign-ups.
Those apps and surveys sit inside a content locker. It’s an advertising tool CPA networks supply, built to pay the operator for every offer finished, never to deliver Robux.
Step 5: The real payout goes to someone else
Install an app, answer a survey or start a trial, and the operator can earn a commission. Every locker task pays them, and across thousands of visitors that adds up.
Some offers are just a slog. Others go further, asking for a phone number that starts a paid text subscription or pushing apps from outside the official app stores.
That’s a bigger problem when you remember who these pages are built for: mainly children. A young player may agree to terms or charges without grasping what they mean.
Step 6: Your balance never changes
Once the offers are done, the page says verification “failed,” demands one more task, or just reloads. Your Roblox balance doesn’t change at all.
The money for your time and data has already gone to the operator.
Watch for a later request to “finish the transfer” with your password or a login code. Treat that as an attempt to hijack your account.
Red Flags of Free Robux Sites Like Robx.me
Below are signs that appear on almost every free Robux site. Just one of them is reason enough to close the page.
It offers Robux for free
Roblox doesn’t send free Robux through outside websites. That makes any site offering it a scam, whatever it calls its tool.
It needs your username to “send” the Robux
Websites don’t add Robux to accounts; Roblox does. The username box is there to make the fake process look official, not to deliver anything.
Hacker-style console windows and a progress bar
A real Roblox purchase is plain: roblox.com or the official app, no theatrics. The fake loading screens, “connecting to server” logs and “injection” messages are animations, nothing more.
“Human verification” tied to a list of offers
Installing apps and filling in surveys isn’t how real bot checks work. A CAPTCHA takes seconds. When verification puts money in someone else’s pocket, it’s a content locker.
Glowing comments beside a list of winners
The live feed of players “receiving” Robux, and each glowing comment, is either scripted or posted by fake accounts. The same “winners” reappear because that list belongs to the script.
Throwaway domains and free hosting
Free-hosting addresses like blogspot.com or netlify.app, random strings of letters and names cobbled together from “rbx,” “free” and “robux” all point to one thing: a throwaway page.
Why Free Robux Generators Can’t Work
The technical-sounding idea of a generator can feel plausible at first. Here’s the catch: there is nothing for an outside site to generate or break into.
Robux are kept on Roblox’s own servers. Adding them is Roblox’s job alone, and it happens after a purchase, a Premium membership or a sale on the platform.
Roblox’s help pages say exactly this. Any offer of free Robux, memberships or valuable items is a scam, and the people pushing it are hunting for your account.
Even if a site could break into Roblox, handing out free currency would make no sense. In practice, ads are the only thing these pages can give you.
Same Kit, Different Domains
There are many free Robux pages almost identical to Robx.me. MalwareTips keeps finding fresh ones, and most of them are put together from a handful of ready-made templates.
Different content-locker accounts sit behind the same page design, which suggests these templates are sold or shared rather than run by one person.
This is why one takedown rarely makes the scam go away. A copy with a different name often appears within days, running the identical script.
Set the pages beside each other, and the shared fingerprints are easy to see:
- The words “free Robux” or “Robux generator” at the top of the page
- A field asking for a username, plus a picker for the amount
- A progress console that isn’t real
- A “human verification” check that’s really a wall of offers
- Live feeds or comments claiming fresh payouts
Whatever the address in your browser says, a page with this pattern is the same scam. Trying it won’t tell you anything new.
The Real Risks for Your Account, Device and Data
Most visitors only lose time and walk away with nothing. The more serious risks come from what the offers, or any later pop-ups and messages, ask for. Watch for these:
- Your Roblox account. Some versions ask for a “login code,” a 2-step verification code or your password. If someone gets those, they can lock you out and empty your inventory.
- Your device. Watch for offers that link to app files outside Google Play or the App Store. Downloads like these can carry adware or worse.
- Your phone bill. A premium text subscription can start when you enter your number in some offers. It keeps charging every week until you cancel it.
- Your personal details. Your name, email, age and address are what surveys and sign-ups collect. From there, the details end up on marketing lists and in spam campaigns.
- Your browser. Clicking Allow when some offer pages ask about notifications fills your screen with fake alerts and still more “free Robux” ads.
Roblox says it never asks for your password off its official login page. That makes any other site that asks an account thief, however good its promise sounds.
How to Get Robux the Safe Way
Want more Robux? Skip anything promising a free shortcut and use one of these safe methods that don’t put your account in danger:
- Get Robux straight from Roblox by buying them on roblox.com or in the official app.
- Get a Roblox gift card from a legitimate store and redeem it through Roblox’s redemption page.
- Collect the monthly Robux that come with a Roblox Premium membership.
- Turn your creations into Robux by selling items, passes or experiences right on Roblox.
Real promotions don’t depend on a stranger’s site collecting your username. When an offer says Roblox is behind it, check Roblox’s official website or social accounts instead.
A Note for Parents
Children are the main target of free Robux sites. They’re more likely to believe a flashy page, and less likely to stop and read the terms of an offer.
A short chat does more good than any filter. Explain that free Robux offers are always fake, and a Roblox password never goes beyond a parent.
- Set up 2-step verification on the Roblox account your child uses.
- Put spending limits in place with Roblox’s parental controls, and use them to review account activity too.
- Request that your mobile carrier block premium text subscriptions on the phone your child uses.
- Agree together that you see every unexpected login request or charge first.
If your child already used a site like Robx.me, keep calm and skip the punishment. Do the steps below together, and change the password first.
What to Do If You Have Fallen Victim to This Scam
Gave Robx.me your username, finished some offers or handed over other details? Work through these steps to limit the damage, account protection first.
- Make your Roblox account safe. Your password needs changing on roblox.com right away if you typed it anywhere on the site. Sign out of all other sessions too.
- Add a second step to sign-in. Turn on 2-step verification so anyone who gets your password again would still need the code that comes to you.
- Fix reused passwords. Start with your email if it uses the same password as Roblox, then move on to any other accounts that share it.
- Uninstall any offer apps. Get rid of whatever you installed to finish the offers. After that, run a Malwarebytes Free scan using the steps below.
- End subscriptions from the offers. Go through app store subscriptions and your phone bill. For each charge the offers started, cancel it in the store settings or with your carrier.
- Silence notification spam. Remove notification permission, in your browser settings, from every site you don’t recognize. On top of that, AdGuard can block many ads that lead to these pages.
- Flag the link. If it came through a Roblox message or experience, use Report Abuse there. If it came from a video, comment or post, report it on that platform.
- Watch for a second scam. Promises to get back lost items or Robux, for a fee or for your password, are a scam too. Ignore them.
Lost access to the account? Go straight to Roblox’s official support form to ask for it back, with the username, email and any purchase receipts ready to share.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Robx.me a real Robux generator?
No. Robx.me is a free Robux scam that dresses an animation up as a generator, then uses a “verification” step to send you through offers paying the operator.
Can a website add Robux to my account with only my username?
No. Only Roblox can add Robux to an account. Typing in your username identifies you to a website, but it doesn’t give the site any way to send you currency.
Why does Robx.me make me complete offers?
The offer wall is the moneymaker. Every survey you answer, app you install or sign-up you complete earns the operator a commission through an ad network.
Can I get banned for using a Robux generator?
Nothing on a fake generator page can reach your account. Still, cheat tools go against Roblox’s rules and can get an account banned. They can’t create Robux either.
I entered my username on Robx.me. Is my account in danger?
Your account can’t be unlocked with just a username. If your password or a login code was shared as well, that’s where the danger starts. Change your password if so.
Is there any legitimate way to get free Robux?
No website or generator offers free Robux. Earn them at no cost by creating on Roblox, or get them by buying Robux, a gift card or Premium.
The Bottom Line
Robx.me is a free Robux scam, and no Robux will ever reach your account. The generator is just a show, and the “human verification” is only a wall of ads.
Walk away before entering your username or completing its offers. A Roblox password should never be typed anywhere but roblox.com or the official Roblox app.
If you already used it, it’s not too late to act. Change your Roblox password, turn on 2-step verification, cancel offer subscriptions, and report the link where you found it.
