  • You would think computer issues wouldn't be so vexing in 2018, I guess I was wrong. I sincerely hope I'm not the only one stuck with the TDR loop bug (which forces a hard reset) due to having an Nvidia card in Windows 10. I've done everything to mitigate said bug but no instability besides that particular bug. Built my computer back in 2008 and it's been running strong since. Using nForce 680i SLI chipset w/ QX6850.

NVidia is known to have driver issues on Windows 10, since they refused to cooperate with Microsoft on the early days.
Suggest you reboot in safe mode and remove the Drivers, disable the Windows Update Automatic Driver install.
Then install the latest NVidia Drivers (or whatever Driver was working before).

@Local Host I've done that countless times and still no change. I've even used the tool that changes the TDR to try and delay when the bug strikes but no dice. I am running GeForce v. 416.34 which I first did both a System Restore backup and image backup (just in case something breaks) and did a clean uninstall with the DDU (via Safe Mode) and installed the latest driver. Bug still happens, but not always.
