Good day and Merry Christmas,
I am hoping you can help. As stated in the initial queries, I started having issues with my laptop slowing down about two weeks ago when all the Chinese\N. Korean cyberwarfare talk started.
After taking initial steps to rectify the problem it became apparent that the issue was still present, slowing my laptop to a standstill with 100% CPU usage. I am the best example of a little bit of knowledge is dangerous and will hurt you every time.
I surfed the web looking for answers and tried several fixes only to find your forums recommending several of the same but still having issues. One of these issues is now a malwarebytes pop-up every 4 -5 seconds warning of a blocked outgoing connection attempt coming from multiple sites but the process always originating in sysWOW64.
Until I found this forum I thought my next step would be to reformat my drive and reload Windows 7.
Thank you for your anticipated help and time.
Regards,
Mike C (RFDMedic)
