Pros:You can make snapshots and back where you wants, something like RollbackRX
Testing malware is helpful with this software as you get your system back as it was before.
Easy to use and light.

Cons:cannot defrag your system and i too have not find in-built system defarg by which snapshots could be defraged.
No much info about the snap you created (only name and date time info available)

ok if system is well defraged be-four you put on SysRestore ,
Defrag I have defraged my system twice with Auslogics Disk Defrag pro,
and survived to tell the tail, and was able to do a restore after.
however defraging is not recommended by SysRestore,
my defrag's were both accidents as I had Auslogics set to defrag
when system fragmentation got to 5 percent,

Shadow Defender is the best of its kind,
but its not rollback software,
Shadow Defender is Light virtualization software

yes i know, for rollback now i use Acronis Try and Decide (built-in Acronis True Image). so i avoid conflicy between Rollback softs an Imaging softs.

sys restores took slightly longer to restore and create but worked fine .

These type of programs are under-rated and are misjudged, With me being a user of RollbackRX for 2 years now, RollbackRX has served me very greatly and has saved me hours of my life for sure, Since the other 3 PC's in my household do not have RollbackRX or any related software installed, I'm willing to give SysRestore a try on them, With a 10 yr old that has badly infected the family PC numerous times making me having to reformat and re-install Windows. Not hard to do but I've grown tired of doing it over and over.

I would have saved myself 40+ minutes if only I had RollbackRX or this software installed at the time.

Thanks for the share, If I come across any issues with the software I'll let you all know. :)

As one of the member had already pointed out that SD is virtualization software and sysrestore, rollback rx are Rollback software.
Both have their different functions on machine and you have more choices with Rollback software

I confirm I have used both last week
Rollback RX pro and SD without any problem and conflicts.
Tested malware with these settings from virus exchange too and no problem.
