AMD today released the latest version of the Radeon Software Adrenalin drivers. Version 21.6.2 beta comes with support for real-time raytracing in "DOOM Eternal," the first game to implement Vulkan RT. The drivers also add support for a handful new Vulkan API extensions, including "VK_EXT_custom_border_color," "VK_KHR_shader_subgroup_uniform_control_flow," and "VK_EXT_color_write_enable." Among the handful issues fixed are visual artifacts on "MechWarrior 5 : Mercenaries" in DirectX 11 mode, on Radeon RX 6000 series; the "Error 184" message when running AMD's auto-detect and install drivers mode on Windows 7; and an application freeze noticed with Adobe Substance 3D Painter on some RX 6000 series graphics products. Grab it from the link below.

  • If a Blue or Black screen is observed in mobile systems, temporarily disable Enhanced sign-in.
  • Resident Evil Village™ may experience an intermittent application hang or TDR on AMD Radeon™ VII graphics products in the first mission of the game.
