Please, do not copy this configuration I have made tweaks to make everything run well together without problems and in-compatibilities, on some systems it can cause SERIOUS problems - security is no joke!

Recommendations are welcome and appreciated :)

Timeline:

2007 - 2009 - Kaspersky PURE
2009 - September 2015 - Avast! Free Antivirus
September 2015 - December 2015 - Avast! Internet Security
December 2015 - January 2016 - Qihoo 360 Total Security
February 2016 - Present - Norton Security

Security software I have used in my lifetime (in order of how I like them 1-5)

Top five (names may have changed, here's what they were called when I used them):
1.) Symantec Norton Security
2.) Avira Free Anti-Virus
3.) Qihoo 360 Total Security
4.) Kaspersky PURE
5.) Avast! Internet Security /Avast! Free Anti-Virus

Others:
  • AVG Free Anti-Virus (really heavy on the system when I used it.)
  • Windows Defender
  • ESET NOD32
  • IObit Malware Fighter (when I knew nothing about security, it corrupted my system registry!!)
How I secure my Chrome:
1.)
app and sand.PNG

2.)
appcintainer.PNG

Nice security setup.:)

Have a backup plan is essential to ensure data and PC security.
The best thing is to create a system image that can be restored in a few minutes to protect the personal information and the operating system from serious errors and/or malware infections.

Here's a guide to using the Windows 10 default features:

How to Use All of Windows 10’s Backup and Recovery Tools

Otherwise consider third parties tools as free Aomei Backupper Free:

Best Free Backup Software for Windows 10, Windows 8.1/8, Windows 7, Vista, XP

File History is fine but for better flexibility extend your backup purpose, where you can revert any changes any time using the snapshot taken from system image that produce by WIndows backup or third party.

Other than that is already very good configuration.

Nice config! Thanks for sharing it :)
Are you using Avast IS 2016? I am running it now on Windows 10 and really like it.I have not used Avast in a long time.
Aomei is a good free choice for backup
Yes I use Internet Security, I was going to get Premier but the extra things it adds a don't need IS is enough, the SafeZone Browser is good too

It is a nice config, I like it; only a thing: add also PrivaZer, to delete all privacy traces ;)

Thanks for sharing your config :)
Is it safe to use?

lol, why im not surprised ^^
I do not like the majority of Comodo's products, I just like their FW.

COMODO CLOUD SCANNER !!!

@Anti-Malware Reviewer

Get rid of it ! PUP ! PUP ! PUP !

It will return a huge items needed to be fixed list and suggest you need repairs that only GeekBuddy can fix.

Use GeekBuddy and they will just try to sell you Comodo softs and GeekBuddy services.

COMODO Cloud Scanner is Adware at best and Scareware at worst !

Get rid of it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I did use Comodo FW, I did uninstall GeekBuddy as soon I saw it was installed

I don't think you need it for 2 reasons.

1) You use Avast IS which already sufficient for overall needs, by just tweaking the configuration will make it perform better.
2) Immunet Antivirus development phase isn't much active nowadays as the overall improvements are not observed at all.
