AOL, Google and Microsoft being sued over Street View patent

A company in the United States which appears to be based in Louisiana, named Transcenic Inc, has decided to sue AOL, Google and Microsoft on grounds that the three companies have breached its own patent. Transcenic requested to a Delaware District court that they prevent the trio from continuing to infringe its patent and receive damages for the use of their street view mapping idea.

Funny, since Google Street View was released 4 years ago and they decide to sue only now. :lol:

Yeah,..Transcenic...Good luck with that.... This is one of the reasons why patents can be considered inadequated for our times, intellectual property rights are a better way to give credits.
BTW why didn't Transcenic used this technology to develop their own products?Also I'm sure that Microsoft and Google worked on the code and the final product is much more different than the original one
(If this law suite is based on something).

Look how many counsels Transcenic hired ...they must want a ton of money from the big boys - link , can bet that Google and Microsoft will have x10 more lawyers on in the court. :p

Looks like another patent troll really, although not as obvious as when some other company decided to sue BitDefender over some apparent patent they had.
