Config' for 2023. (The label should probably be changed from Advanced to Basic.)

I'm not particularly concerned about my system's security anymore, which is why I no longer strengthen Defender's settings or make use of ASR rules. I've no plans on restricting Windows's internal features (scripts, LOLbins, macros, etc.) or supplementing Defender with third-party security software either.
Frankly I've reached a point where I'm confident in my ability to not infect myself (whether that confidence is well-founded or simply me being arrogant, remains to be seen), and no longer worry about infection vectors outside my control.

What's the reason behind this change? Performance impact?
Yeah, but it's an unsubstantiated change. I can't honestly say whether or not it's having an affect on my system's performance, as my system isn't exactly a powerhouse to begin with and Defender—regardless of its protection level—already has a noticeable impact on it (compared to when I was running Voodooshield by itself). So I'd rather just lower the protection level and avoid any potential performance impact it might be having.
