AVC have updated the results for October:

AV-Comparatives.org

Standout is Kaspersky with 99.6% blocked and 0.4% user dependent [0% compromised].

Also excellent results for:
  • Symantec - 99.6% blocked, 0.2% user dependent and 0.2% compromised
  • G-DATA and Qihoo - 99.6% blocked and 0.4% compromised
  • Bitdefender - 99.4% blocked and 0.6% compromised

F-Secure, Panda, Avira and AVG did pretty well too, notable slip for avast...

But Avast and Panda truly failed this time... I know that Panda has all its heuristic locally so i wonder why this result.

don't trust blindly tests organization, nobody know how they do, just take them as information.

You are probably referring to the retrospective test/heuristics test. Avast has a URL blocker that is useless in this test while Panda being mainly a cloud av probably focuses more on signatures than on heuristics. Plus, both products obtained an Advanced rating which is good IMO.

What happens in the real-world is that the browser is typically redirected to such a URL through an exploit - most likely a Javascript exploit pack or something similar. And that's the part of the equation that the test completely ignores.
Ehh, I don't know... avast blocks URLs too so they could still get a good score without their script protection being tested in the so called "Real World" test. Anyway, AV Comparatives considers results for a single month as not representative so we should do the same:
We do not give in this report exact numbers for the single months on purpose, to avoid the little differences of few cases being misused to state that one product is better than another in a given mounth and test-set size.
(from their latest "Real World" Report)

For Avast added with user dependent percentage would be same like other security products ranges so its not bad at all thus they are aware on it.

Some very surprising results .. Didn't see Kaspersky on the top for some time now... it's good to see that they can still do it. :D
G-DATA still has a very low market share for what this product can do.....while Avast is a major surprise still can't believe that they've 'manage' to finish on the last place......
