In the closing stages for the product of the year 2017, let's see which antivirus (free/paid) has the best GUI (Graphical User Interface) according to you.

Note1: Post screenshot of the antivirus for others to see.

Note2: This is not a thread for your favorite antivirus, but the one that has the best UI according to you, no matter how bad the software is!

Note3: If you don't have a favorite UI you can also post your own representation of a UI in an antivirus modeled by you.

The choice is not easy but I would say SecureAPlus with a choice of themes including this one that I like a lot:

And if I had to choose a 2nd I would say Norton:

Lets say the new UI concepts are quite pleasant, generally speaking, because the graphical interface is the first thing that a user notices, and marketing well knows this.
If I had to choose, maybe ESET has one of the best UI: clean and tidy.

I second this! ESET (all versions) present a nice, clean, and well-organized UI. Super fast to load too, and the options (advanced) are not hard to find.

I'm voting for Dr.Web. The interface is minimalistic and you can reach important functions with just a few clicks. It reacts quickly and does what you wants. If you switch from other interfaces, Dr.Web's UI feels a bit strange. But if you use it for a while, other interfaces like Avast and Kaspersky seem outdated. The colours are right. The settings are easy to find and use.

But there are also extended settings for pros. Which UI from other vendors can control the preventive protection in detail? I think Comodo, Emsisoft and Dr.Web are the only ones.

It's hard to say. I think most AV (as weel as other softwares) UI are now excellent. A decade ago, there used to be a different UI at each yearly release. But companies have improved and polished their UI over the years so much so that they mostly stay the same or barely change, and for good reasons (with the exception of a few products). I think it's fair to say that nowadays, most UI are fairly good.

Here are the 3 best UI in my opinion:

Trend Micro: the cleanest and easiest to use

Eset: the most balanced

Emsisoft: the best for tech people (a lot of settings accessible right away while remaining clean)

360 Essential for sure. Simple, effective and clean interface, easily clickable links, unlike in most AVs, which require you to point and click.

Settings have check boxes, but the whole message is clickable, so it still applies. I just find the whole GUI adorable overall.
