AVAST 2015 R4 (2015.10.4.2233)

Hi all,

New version AVAST 2015 R4 (build number 2015.10.3.2233) has been released. No new features added, just fixing bugs.

Fixes in Avast 2015 R4:

- Better server selection list in SecureLine
- Fixed: Cleanup to stop on 99%
- Fixed: Problems with HTTPS certificates in Firefox after upgrade to Windows 10
- Fixed: Firewall not started after upgrade to Windows 10
- Fixed: Cleanup to report leftover files, when software was just updated and not uninstalled (e.g. Skype, Java)
- Fixed: Issues with payment gates ( Sytempay is banished by Avast. Which French bank is the friend of Avast ?, Avast seems to block payments made with a french payment platform)
- Fixed: Issues with not showing images on some sites (Images not loading on Yahoo.com and other websites, Avast blocking images on yahoo sites )
- Fixed: Issues with Outlook 2003 context menu (Outlook 2003 issues with new release)



How to install:

1. Update from existing Avast version via Settings -> Update -> Update program

It should be possible to install this version on top of your existing avast! installation (all settings should be preserved).

To report BSODs, crashes or any other none trivial problems please use new SupportPackage generating tool.

Hello,
If someone wants to test Avast IS(more than 1 month) do this person needs to buy avast IS ?(sometimes with beta, licence are given ^^)

If you download a Beta its usually 30 days to be used

A test from Free AV to IS converted is just 20 days for some odd reason

Avast Free is best. Used Avast IS and found it's really have a huge impact on the system.

@Anupam No slowdown for me at all Using Avast Premier

@OpenSecLabs : No news yet but a Beta should come soon enough.

Changes for 2016:

-New SafeZone (Confirmed)
-New Tray Icon context Menu/Launcher (Users are waiting for that, confirmed for implementation)
-DeepScreen improvements (NOT CONFIRMED, but i bet there will be something coming since they mentioned automatic creation of Dyna-Gen sigs)
-Improved and fully kicking in HIPS with more settings (Confirmed)
-UI Changes (NOT CONFIRMED, but i guess they will rearange some stuff or make it user friendly for touch)
