Hi Everyone,

I've just started using avast! SecureLine and wonder if anyone here knows anything about what/how it works? I cannot find much on the web, their forum etc.,

Tony :)

I myself could never recommend you using 'SecureLine' as many better services are available at this moment.

It is just another way for avast to get money by making another product and putting a price on it.

Hi Fedora, what other services are available/better that SecureLine? Thanks for the info, I would never have brought a one year license if I knew :(

@Tony Cole You don't have to look far to find reviews of this product. Just Google "avast! SecureLine" to see more reviews.

PCMag: http://uk.pcmag.com/avast-secureline-vpn/4835/review/avast-secureline
3/5 rating (Good) - "While the service is stable in the States, its overseas access isn't, so look elsewhere for more reliable service"
ExpertReviews: http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/internet-security/1400543/avast-secureline-vpn-review
3/5 ratings - "..the PC licence seems a bit expensive, particularly given that it's inflexible and the protection it provides isn’t perfect."

And on Android and iOS, a lot more negative reviews.

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/secureline-vpn-wifi-security/id793096595

Perform a simple research before you buy anything!!

Tony, I trust Fedora's word (+ Huracan's too!:):)) but don't be hard on yourself.
Softpedia has a very good review and (editor's) rating for Avast!'s SecureLine.
About VPNs, I have always been on the outer perimeter of fully understanding and diving right in. The full extant of my limited experience has only reached as far as the extensions ZENMATE and DoNotTrackMe which make our ISP look as though we are in Turkey and NY City respectively!:)
Did I say "appear"? Ahem, I meant to say we are in those places!!;):p

@Tony Cole , I did a search I'll share that resulted in both free and paid VPNs you can peruse.
PS *Totally off topic, I know, but
...only 2 Days 'till Lady GaGa!! No VPN required.:D
