Antivirus vendor AVG has announced a new series of products that automatically update itself as soon as a new version is available, just like Windows 10. According to the antivirus software developer it’s the first step towards ‘Security as a Service’. The software now also fully supports Windows 10.
The new update model should make sure that updates are continuously installed and should ensure that users always have the latest version installed. According to AVG these are the company’s first steps toward the ‘Security as a Service’ direction. The company follows Microsoft that with Windows 10 is trying to make ‘Windows as a Service’.

AVG’s antivirus software is available in both free and paid versions and for multiple operating systems. Recently the company was under fire for its new privacy policy in which the company stated it could collect and sell data from users.
