The Belarc Advisor builds a detailed profile of your installed software and hardware, network inventory, missing security updates, anti-virus status, security benchmarks, and displays the results in your Web browser.
All of your PC profile information is kept private on your PC and is not sent to any web server.

The Belarc Advisor is only licensed for personal use. Any commercial, government or educational use is not permitted. We offer some charitable organizations a license to use the Belarc Advisor at no cost, under certain conditions. Please send us information about your charity, a URL and the number of computers.

Operating Systems: Runs on Windows 11, 2022, 2019, 10, 2016, 8.1, 2012 R2, 8, 2012, 7, 2008 R2, Vista, 2008, 2003 SP2, XP SP3. Both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows are supported. Our commercial products also run on all other versions of Windows and on the Macintosh OS X, Linux, and Solaris operating systems.

Getting a well-trained computer security consultant to find problems with your system may cost you a lot. As a workaround, you can do the task yourself or use an application that quickly and accurately produces detailed information about your computer. There are many programs that claim to do so but most of them require you to pay a fee for the job done. Why not try Belarc Advisor?

Belarc Advisor
although does not fix the problem itself, analyzes a machine’s weak points and gives clear advice to address them. And that too for free! Technically speaking, the ingenious application creates a complete profile of your software and hardware, thereby alerting you to missing Microsoft hotfixes, the status of your antivirus status, computer benchmarks, and more. It does so by using the Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmark test to give the computer a score showing its overall security level.

The complete and well-detailed report generated can be viewed in your default Web browser and there is no need of navigating elsewhere.

Our Thoughts on Belarc Advisor

We really like Belarc Advisor and we've been using it for a long time. We'd consider it the "original" system information program. We're not aware of any similar program that's been available and continuously improved upon, for anywhere near the length of time that Belarc Advisor has been. We used it way back in the Windows 95 days!

Obviously, it's great that it's a completely free program but that's not at all why we love it so much. Belarc Advisor is quick, accurate, and produces more detailed information that many similar programs, some of which dare to charge for a similar feature set.
