No, the old one will work.
It will just ask if you want to switch from the previous license, showing you both the license. The new license period may be displayed as the sum of both the licenses, but in the end you will get 180 days only.

i have 8GB max, BD eats me 4GB what means: Half RAM or 50:50. What about that false-positive AVAST?

Avast is using 89MB/8GB for me.

That value of Memory usage is fair, but Bitdefender Memory usage is unacceptfull because he eats 4GB/8GB or more for nothing. Developers really should rename Bitdefender to: Bugfender RAM-EATER virus.
