Why do Bitdefender write temp.xxx folders several gb's each to the C: drive when the AV-scan is scanning on my other two secondary drives both 3TB and 4TB? My scan had taken about 7 hours and the scan had written chunks of data to my c: drive to the TEMP folder in the Windows directory during that time. This can't be normal?

Are there any particular reason for it to do so? Scanning using Bitdefender will wear your ssd-drive in no time it it continues to do so

I am not alone

They haven't seem to fix this in two years time.

Really! I have not encountered any AV that does this.
