BitTorrent Speed to Strengthen BitTorrent Protocol, Connect users with (BTT) tokens

We are proud to announce the expected release for BitTorrent Speed and our new crypto token, planned to be widely available by summer. BitTorrent Speed, software that connects and rewards users with BitTorrent (BTT) tokens, will be available on the popular µTorrent Classic Windows client and will create the world’s largest blockchain application for speedy uploading and downloading of files.

Features of BTT Speed

• Faster Downloads - Use BitTorrent (BTT) to download even faster
• Earn for seeding - Receive and use BitTorrent (BTT) for seeding and sharing bandwidth with the whole community.

How it Works:

1. By default, the uTorrent client will update automatically to include a BitTorrent Speed link in the left-hand navigation menu. Open BitTorrent Speed to check your balance and activity at any time.
2. BitTorrent Speed will automatically bid BitTorrent (BTT) to other users for faster speeds. The bidding user’s downloading experience will stay the same, except it’s even faster!
3. When a file finishes downloading, let it seed to earn BitTorrent (BTT). The longer you seed, the more tokens you may be able to earn. Just leave your files seeding in your client and you may automatically earn tokens.

Is there Mining involved?
No. The TRON blockchain does not need your computer resources to process transactions, so your torrent client will never mine.

An interesting way to keep torrents seeded, but I wonder what would be the implications of users of other programs like qBittorrent, etc.

I bought some BTT recently. It will be fun to see the project progress and hopefully it is adopted by lots of people.
