Microsoft today released cumulative updates for most versions of Windows 10. Being the second Tuesday of the month, this is par for the course for Patch Tuesday. While 14393.576 for PC and Mobile are available for Anniversary Update users, 10240.17202 and 10586.713 are available for those that are using older versions of Windows 10.

In fact, the only version of the OS that didn't get an update today is Windows 10 Mobile version 1511 (build 10586). This isn't surprising, as only around 1.3% of Windows phone users use that version, although Microsoft does patch it from time to time.

Here's what's fixed in version 14393.576:
  • Improved reliability of Security Support Provider Interface.
  • Addressed a service crash in CDPSVC that in some situations could lead to the machine not being able to acquire an IP address.
  • Addressed issue where a Catalog-signed module installation does not work on Nano Server.
  • Addressed issue with Devices left with Hello on for an excessive amount of time will not go into power savings mode.
  • Addressed issue with gl_pointSize to not work properly when used with drawElements method in Internet Explorer 11.
  • Addressed issue where Azure Active Directory-joined machines after upgrading to Windows 10 Version 1607 cannot sync with Exchange.
  • Addressed additional issues with app compatibility, updated time zone information, Internet Explorer.
  • Security updates to Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Uniscribe, Common Log File System Driver.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, none of what's listed refers to Windows 10 Mobile, and we'll keep you updated if for some reason, there's a separate changelog. Microsoft says that there aren't any known issues in this build.

You can grab today's update by heading to Settings -> Update & security -> Windows Update or Phone update -> Check for updates.

Here's what got fixed in build 10240.17202, which is for the version of Windows that shipped in July, 2015:
  • Addressed issue that causes the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) client to fail installation when a device is re-imaged using the SCCM task sequence.
  • Addressed issue with an error that occurs when the home page of the browser is set to an extremely long URL.
  • Addressed issue with search suggestions and suggested sites feature of the browser not working properly.
  • Addressed issue when changing the password for a local account with update KB3198585 installed, the computer will hang at "Changing Password".
  • Addressed additional issues with Internet Explorer and updates to time zone information.
  • Security updates to Microsoft Uniscribe, Microsoft Graphics Component, the Windows OS, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Windows Hyper-V, Windows kernel, and the kernel-mode driver.
Here's what's new in build 10586.713, which is for the November Update (version 1511):
  • Improved reliability of Internet Explorer.
  • Addressed issue with AppLocker failing to check for certificate revocation while verifying the binary signature.
  • Addressed issue with an error that occurs when the home page of the browser is set to an extremely long URL.
  • Addressed an issue where the user sometimes incorrectly gets an error notification to fix the USB device connected to Windows 10 Mobile.
  • Addressed issue with search suggestions and suggested sites feature of the browser not working properly.
  • Addressed additional issues with updates to time zone information and Internet Explorer.
  • Security updates to Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Uniscribe, Internet Explorer, the Windows OS, Microsoft Graphics Component, kernel-mode driver, Windows Hyper-V, and the Windows kernel.
It's possible that we still might see a cumulative update for Windows 10 Mobile version 1511 devices within the coming weeks, but other than that, you probably won't hear about these versions of Windows until next month's Patch Tuesday. There is no Insider Preview for these updates, like there is for the Anniversary Update.

This update was actually an absolute nightmare to install... Download and Install kept getting stuck, system got stuck on "Restarting..." countless times. After installing it, it began to cause performance issues.
