If you're on the Creators Update, you're going to see build 15063.483, or KB4025342, which is available for PCs and phones. You can find it on the Microsoft Update Catalog here. This is what got fixed:

  • Addressed issue introduced by KB4022716 where Internet Explorer 11 may close unexpectedly when you visit some websites.
  • Addressed issue to improve MediaCreationTool.exe support for Setup Tourniquet scenarios.
  • Addressed issue with CoreMessaging.dll that may cause 32-bit apps to crash on the 64-bit version of the Windows OS.
  • Addressed an issue where Visual Studio or a WPF application may terminate unexpectedly (stops responding, followed by a crash) when running on a pen and/or touch enabled machine with Windows 10 Creators Update.
  • Addressed issue that causes the system to crash when certain USB devices are unplugged while the system is asleep.
  • Addressed issues with screen orientation that stops working after lid close and lid open transitions.
  • Addressed issue that causes .jpx and .jbig2 images to stop rendering in PDF files.
  • Addressed issue where users could not elevate to Administrator through the User Account Control (UAC) dialog when using a smart card.
  • Addressed issue where input using the Korean handwriting feature dropped the last character of a word or moved it to the next line incorrectly.
  • Addressed issue with a race condition between the App-V Catalog Manager and the Profile Roaming Service. A new registry key is available to control the waiting period for App-V Catalog Manager, which allows any third-party Profile Roaming Service to complete.
  • Security updates to Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Edge, Windows Search, Windows kernel, Windows shell, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Windows Virtualization, Datacenter Networking, Windows Server, Windows Storage and File Systems, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows kernel-mode drivers, ASP.NET, Microsoft PowerShell, and the .NET Framework.
There's an important note too, which also applies to the 1507 update:
  • After installing the security updates for CVE-2017-8563, administrators need to set registry key LdapEnforceChannelBinding to enable the fix for the CVE. For more information about setting the registry key, see Microsoft Knowledge Base article 4034879.
Finally, there is a known issue in this update that you should be aware of if you're using Comodo Internet Security Suite:

Symptom Workaround/Mitigation
If you have not installed the latest version of Comodo Internet Security Suite, you will not have this Windows Update offered to your device automatically.
Comodo is aware of incompatibility issues with earlier versions of the Comodo Internet Security Suite. For additional information, please see here or contact Comodo.

Note: We do not recommend that you uninstall Windows security updates.

The third-party products that this article discusses are manufactured by companies that are independent of Microsoft. Microsoft makes no warranty, implied or otherwise, about the performance or reliability of these products.

Next up is build 14393.1480, which is for devices that are on the Anniversary Update, or version 1607. It's available for PCs, and phones that weren't eligible for the Creators Update. You can download KB4025339 manually here. Here's what's new:

  • Addressed issue introduced by KB4022723 where Internet Explorer 11 may close unexpectedly when you visit some websites.
  • Addressed issue with race condition that causes Lync Edge servers to randomly crash (Stop Error D1). Any active, open session within a federated domain loses connectivity for conference calls, instant messaging, etc.
  • Addressed issue with memory leaks in the nonpaged pool with the "NDnd" tag, which causes the OS to crash.
  • Addressed issue with race condition that occurs when two threads try to reconstruct the hash table simultaneously.
  • Addressed issue where Internet Explorer 11 stops responding when a user clicks an empty column header and then immediately holds down the SHIFT key and double-clicks.
  • Addressed issue where the NewWindow3 event handler is never called in a managed WebBrowser class of .NET 4.6.
  • Addressed issue in Internet Explorer 11 where a text node returned from the DOMParser may be incorrect when MutationObserver for childList and subtree is active.
  • Addressed issue in Internet Explorer 11 where a crash can occur in limited scenarios when using the Find feature (Ctrl+F).
  • Security updates to the Windows shell, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Search, Windows kernel, Windows kernel-mode drivers, the .NET Framework, Windows Server, Windows Virtualization, Windows Storage and File Systems, Datacenter Networking, Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft PowerShell, Microsoft Edge, and the Microsoft Scripting Engine.
Build 14393.1480 also includes a known issue:

Symptom Workaround
If an iSCSI target becomes unavailable, attempts to reconnect will cause a leak. Initiating a new connection to an available target will work as expected. Microsoft is working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.

If you've got a device that's still on Windows 10 version 1511, you'll see KB4025344, or 10586.1007. Unfortunately, this one is not available for phones. As with the others, you can install it manually from the Microsoft Update Catalog. Here are the key changes:

  • Addressed issue introduced by KB4032693 where Internet Explorer 11 may close unexpectedly when you visit some websites.
  • Addressed issue that causes .jpx and .jbig2 images to stop rendering in PDF files.
  • Addressed issue in Internet Explorer 11 where a text node returned from the DOMParser may be incorrect when MutationObserver for childList and subtree is active.
  • Addressed issue that might prevent an enrolled device from syncing with an MDM server after a power loss or sudden shutdown.
  • Security updates to Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Microsoft Edge, Windows Search, Windows shell, Windows kernel-mode drivers, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows kernel, .NET Framework, Windows Virtualization, Windows Server, Windows Storage and File Systems, Datacenter Networking, Microsoft NTFS, ASP.NET, and Microsoft PowerShell.
There are no known issues in Windows 10 build 10586.1007.

Finally, if you're still on the original version of Windows 10, or version 1507, you'll get 10240.17488, which can be downloaded from the Update Catalog here. Here's what got fixed:

  • Addressed issue introduced by KB4032695 where Internet explorer 11 may close unexpectedly when you visit some websites.
  • Addressed issue with custom default associations that are not applied properly in some upgrade or reset scenarios.
  • Addressed issue where the onhashchange event fails to trigger when navigating some hashed URLs in Internet Explorer 11.
  • Addressed issue where the NewWindow3 event handler is never called in a managed WebBrowser class of .NET 4.6.
  • Addressed issue that can cause cursor flicker when hovering over a popup menu option in Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft Edge.
  • Addressed issue where Internet Explorer 11 crashes when a user clicks on an empty column header and then quickly does a Shift + double click.
  • Addressed issue where Internet Explorer 11 crashes with certain Browser Helper Objects after the July Internet Explorer updates.
  • Addressed issue where certain elements (input or select) cannot be active targets of any action in Internet Explorer 11. This occurs after removing an iframe that contained a cursor inside certain elements (input or select) and adding a new iframe.
  • Security updates to Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Microsoft Edge, Windows Search, Windows shell, Windows kernel-mode drivers, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows kernel, the .NET Framework, Windows Virtualization, the Windows Server, Windows Storage and File Systems, Datacenter Networking, Microsoft NTFS, ASP .NET, and Microsoft PowerShell.
There are no known issues in build 10240.17488.

Recently, Microsoft has been offering cumulative updates twice every month, rather than just on the second Tuesday. Two weeks ago, however, it published changelogs for a series of updates, but most users never received them.

The Mercedes front end is destroyed and LADA is basically unharmed with a small ripple in the front corner panel. That is $5,500 damage to the Mercedes and $250 to the LADA.

It appears to me: Windows = Mercedes, Linux = LADA
250$ ? Add it to 500 and you can get a new one :D
Of course, the driver matters

All this Lada stuff reminds me of a few old jokes...
What do you call a Lada with a sunroof? A skip
What do you call a Lada with two exhaust pipes? A wheelbarrow
And so on... :p:p

The downloading of that particular cumulative update was stuck at 6% for a long long time until I manually downloaded the installer for it from the "Microsoft Update Catalog" website. That went smooth.
