Video game developer Sledgehammer Games and publisher Activision are delivering a new trailer for the Season Pass which is offered for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, designed to show gamers a glimpse of the downloadable content that will be delivered for the title over the course of the 365 days after it is finally launched.

Gamers will be able to get access to four DLC packages which are described by the two companies as being epic, despite the fact that no details about their actual content is available at the moment.

We do know, however, that they are named Havoc, Ascendance, Reckoning and Supremacy.

They will also get instant access to the new Atlas Gorge map, which is designed to offer a unique experience and showcase the most interesting mechanics of the new first-person shooter, based on the classic Pipeline experience from Modern Warfare.

A number of bonus weapons are also included in the Season Pass for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, which is designed to allow gamers to save 10 dollars or Euro when compared to getting all the extra content separately.

Presumably, the four DLC packs will include extra maps and maybe one new mode each, and players will also be able to use more customization options for their character.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is lagging behind when it comes to pre-orders

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be launched on November 4 of this year on the PC, the Xbox One from Microsoft, the PlayStation 4 from Sony and last-gen consoles.

Dedicated gamers can now place a pre-order for the Day Zero Edition, which will unlock one day earlier and will allow players to get double experience for their character for a 24-hour period.

The multiplayer component is built around the exoskeleton and futuristic weaponry, with plenty of items that can suit the play style of each gamer.

The Season Pass trailer might be another way for Activision and retail partner GameStop to try and boost pre-orders for the game just ahead of launch.

Information shows that they are behind those posted by both Black Ops 2 and last year's Ghosts.

Analysts are saying that by the end of the year Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare might end up selling 40 percent less than its predecessor and might be the title which marks a long-term decline for the first-person shooter series which has been dominating the industry for a while.
